It’s quite funny how sometimes out of the blue, you really crave something. Here I am sitting infront of the PC trying to type my entry tonite when all I could think of is these crisps/chips sitting in the pantry. But before you say anything, I’m definitely NOT pregnant so ni memang lah bukan craving mak buyung! ( unless you count the lemak kat my perut tu as a growing ‘baby’, hehehe). Padahal baru aje makan dinner about an hour and a half ago so sepatutnya masih lah kenyang lagi kan. But my perut and my taste buds and my brains are all ganging up to make me eat these potato chips!!!!!! Ahhhhhhhhhh……. tak senang duduk dibuatnya bila tengah craving ni….

When I told the other half yang I really really really feel like eating some potato chips, he straight away suruh I redah the pantry. Patutnya dia suruh lah kan I minum air segelas dulu, or makan buah ke so tak lah makin naik berat badan wife dia ni sebab melantak chips🙂. Maybe dia nak join I sekali kot melantak potato chips yang teramatlah sedapnya tu, that’s why lah dia suruh I gi bukak the chips bag, hehehehe. Ye lah seperti kata orang, couples who eat together stay together, wahahahaha……..

I am going to blame my hormonal cycles for all these cravings. Sometimes at certain times of my cycle, I crave something sweet which is selalunya chocolate cake. Kalau I makan any other type of cake, memang tak kan hilang the craving. Kalau I makan berkilo2 chocolate pun, memang tak kan hilang the craving. I HAVE to makan chocolate cake baru lah rasa puas! And at other times, I crave something salty which is slalunya potato chips or savoury biscuits. Makanlah benda lain, or berkilo2 garam pun memang tak jalan. Not that I have ever tried eating berkilo2 garam tu,hehehe. Terukkan my cravings ni, mengalahkan orang preggy aje!

So, for anyone out there yang tertanya2 macam mana lah rupa bentuk potato chips yang I tengah meleleh2 ngences memikirkan nya….


If you ever find this in the shop, do give it a try, memang lah sedap sangat2. Macam tak nak berenti makan bila dah mula gigit the first chips, hehehehe…. Masa tengah makan ni, memang tak ingat all the calories and what it can do to your thighs. But lepas makan tu, sendiri aje lah yang tau kan …………

    dia tulis thinly cut tu yg I kena mkn banyak2 sbb ye lah, mana nak rasa mkn 1 keping yg thin tu kan, hehehe. Thighs I skrg ni tgh berdondang sayang sbb lemak2 kat situ semua nak dpt member baru, ahaks!!

    My hb suka yg crinkle cut, I suka yg thinly cut. So setiap masa mesti ada dua jenis cut utk flavour yg sama. I suka seasalt flavour. Yummy….

    pst – kkdg teringin lak makan kerepek ubi atau kerepek pisang yg my aunty buat. Yg jual kat kedai ni tak sedap lah.

    kak min.. kalo dlm diet melantak benda alah nih…. pasni kene lompat katak keliling umah 1 hari sekali selama seminggu… wakakakaka… kalo cam hamba nih lantak laaa… sesama naik membina badan.. ehehe

    ughh… klu kunyah chips ni mmg xleh berenti! selagi x habis selagi tu kunyah…

    i just had my craving last week. tetiba rasa nak makan srikaya, bukan yang beli kat kedai tapi nak yang buat sendiri…out of the blue dah malam kacau srikaya atas dapur…puas hati… rupa2nya craving sebab dah cukup masa nak naik bendera jepun!

    My hubby tak kisah apa2 cut as long as they are chips,hehehe. I tak berapa suka flavour lain except this. we all pun sentiasa ada chips dlm pantry,hehehe.

    weh rajin giler u masak srikaya malam2! Tapi mmng rasa lega kan once kita dah dpt benda yg kita crave ni. Tapi kalau craving I involves benda yg kena masak or bake malam2, memang I tak layan lah sbb I ni malassss sikit…🙂

    Hi LG…so org OZ makan Smith’s eh? huhuu😉 don’t u miss Pringles? rasanyer kalau kat mesia ni, the best is pringles la….tp since dah kecoh pringles ( the ori made in USA nye pringles) takleh makan sbb tak halal….so we opt for msian made pringles but it tastes totally different…macam takde feel jer makan hehe….for the time being, i opt for frito lay’s Ruffles…tp it’s a bit expensive here….nak kena pegi US baru murah kot hehe cerita la lagi apa lg yg menarik dan syedap dimakan and takde kat mesia ni tp ada kat Perth tu in ur next entry😉

    Hi Kak LG🙂 I’m Dya’s bigger sister and I got to know about your blog after reading my sister’s attempt on making Pavlova (which I also made sbb terhinginnn sbb tgk gamba dia :p – and which btw, thank you very much for sharing the recipe..mmg sodap!)

    I totally get you bab2 craving ni. But unlike you, I tend to crave for BOTH benda manis and masin; like..lepas makan benda manis, tetibe nk benda masin. Lepas benda masin, nk benda manis. Tak kesah la sikit pon takpe.huhuhu..kadang sampai sanggup idopkan dapur! LOL

    and oh yes, potato chips mmg irresistable!! I can never say no to chips :p

    bagus blog ada resepi2 ni.

    chips ni kalau ada depan mata nak habiskan semua, bila sekali sekala teringin, cari sampai dapat. Tapi bukan semua buat daripada real potato tau. ada yang dibuat daripada tepung je.

    Smiths n Arnotts chips mmng popular kat OZ ni but dah mcm2 brand skrg so tinggal go eeny meeny miny moe aje to choose the chips you want, hehehe.Pringles pun ada but I tak tau pulak made kat mana. Nantilah I buat show lagi all the food yg popular here kay🙂.

    Dya did a great job kan buat pavlova tu🙂. Sian dia kena tunggu next holidays baru boleh buat pavlova again! Hahaha, cravings you lagi teruk ye. I tak lah sampai kena ada both manis n masin at the same time. But just now I saw coklat kek at the shop and now I terasa sgt2 nak mkn coklat kek, hehehe….

    vegetables takde cholesterol so potato takde cholesterol but potato chips ni sbb dah campur mcm2 and so high in other fat and salt, tu yg tak bagus sgt, hehehe. But sekali sekala makan takpe kan😉.

    I masa kat Perth dulu had that cravings too. Kalau time nak masin, makan chips gak but I can’t remember the brand. Kalau nak manis mesti chocolate…ferrero Rocher or rafaelo. Kat Malaysia Rafaelo tak de rasanya…Rocher lak mahal..
