I told to The Other Half that a few readers of this blog have been asking about our ‘love’ story and how we met etc….

And he said, “Tell them it’s not a love story, it’s a comedy of errors!

Ha bloody Ha Ha….Baring teeth smile

And you said this after I stood in front of the stove for nearly an hour tonight cooking and stirring the mushroom risotto that for a few days you’ve mengidam nak makan!

Adalah orang tu yang nampak gayanya kena makan maggi aje lepas ni gamaknya, muahahaha…….Sarcastic smile

Let’s just say, our ‘love’ story memang tak romantik langsung so memang tak kannya dapat masuk list ‘the greatest love story of all times’, hikhikhik..

Tu yang malas nak cerita sebab gerenti nya people will say, “lerr…macam tu aje ke. Tak lah best mana, best lagi cerita cinta we all!

Heeeee…..

We met when we were both students and got married when we were still students as well. Tu lah sebab we don’t mind living without a lot of material things sebab dah terbiasa dengan kehidupan students yang serba daif itu, hahahaha…. Winking smile

Dari dia penuh rambut kat kepala sampai lah dia takde rambut kat kepala, hikhikhik….

Dari I tak tau masak sangat sampai lah sekarang dah terer jugak lah masak for the family Smile.

Dari tak pernah makan nor masak risotto to now yang dah boleh berdiri lama2 depan stove mengacau risotto sampai masak, hahaha.

Dinner we all malam ni, mushroom risotto with grilled chilli prawns.

The Little Misses I buatkan nasi goreng ayam sebab diaorang tak suka mushroom. Our risotto tonite memang penuh dengan segala macam mushroom, I letak swiss brown, shiitake, button and enoki mushrooms.

Risotto guna arborio rice, paella pulak guna medium grain rice, nasi goreng guna long grain rice, sushi guna koshihikari rice, nasi briyani guna basmati rice!

Tu sebab dalam pantry I tu ada bermacam2 jenis beras Open-mouthed smile.

The Little Misses bila tengok our risotto terus kata, “why does it look so grey? Is rice supposed to have that colour?” Pastu they asked, “That’s not for us, is it?”. Takut sangat agaknya kalau kena paksa makan nasi kelabu, hahaha.

Colour dia memang a bit tak menarik sebab kelabu asap gitu tapi rasa dia tetap mengancam Smile. I used this recipe tapi I adapted it to suit our taste. Instead of wine, I ganti dengan shiitake mushroom stock and I tak letak butter, just olive oil. And I couldn’t be bothered with the parsley nor the lemon sage oil.
